ABSL @ Davos 2026

ABSL is back in Davos, partnering with Accenture and Polish Business Hub, for a debate “Tensions. Transitions. Trajectory: Leading in a world on edge.”

Moderated by Raphael Minder (Financial Times correspondent for Central Europe), the debate “Tensions. Transitions. Trajectory: Leading in a world on edge” brought together leaders with first-hand experience of operating at the intersection of global complexity and strategic transformation:

  • Honorata Hencel (Managing Director Poland & Ukraine, Boeing)
  • Agnieszka Kubera (Country Manager Director, Accenture Poland)
  • Jacek Levernes (Chairman of ABSL)

The discussion moved through the realities facing European business today and included shifting supply chains and the acceleration of AI to the question of technological sovereignty, among other topics.

The conversation also touched on defense and security, highlighting just how complex this area is from a compliance perspective. It requires trusted, local and highly compliant ecosystems and Europe must be ready to build and protect them.

Poland featured strongly in this context. The country is an increasingly strategic hub for knowledge-intensive, high-value activities: from cybersecurity and advanced engineering to aerospace and R&D. Stability, scale and skills are turning into a real competitive advantage.

A sharp, timely exchange and a strong reminder that business services play a much bigger role today: enabling resilience, supporting strategic industries and strengthening Europe’s long-term competitiveness.
